Silver-me-Smith

Some of you may know that I am taking up the art of being a silversmith. Now you all know.

It has been exciting, to say the least! I have always been interested in making jewelry, and have always been attracted to metal, so it is time I learned a bit more about it.

Here's a bit of what I've been working on... we'll see what else comes in the future...

These berries, commonly referred to as Mountain Ash berries, are not poisonous, and are actually packed with more vitamin C than lemons. Eat up me hearties! [best mixed with a less tart fruit and cooked into a preserve or syrup]

My loverly couch...

Sorry little lady bugs!

Live

Pretty.

More lady bugs or something...

Little sockies :)

Mountains and sunshine on a cold day...

Little MR's hand.

A finished gift.

Before the gift card.

Another gift.

um... art?

A little pillow explosion.
Lesson learned: Never put pillows in the same load as fuzzy socks. Or anything else for that matter.

early mornings

Early mornings (08:00 A.M.) are great for taking pictures in the garden of all the little winged and 6-legged beings and dew drops. Bees flying in, and crawling out of Hawaiian Orchids and grasshoppers thinking they're unobserved until a camera lens finds them and then they twitch nervously.

The sun shining through a drop of dew and then going forth in multiple directions from there.

And I pick a pea and eat it. Sorry Magnus.

And speaking of peas, we saw the neighbor take a pea over the fence. It's quite funny to tell someone that, more than reading it, but you get the picture. I wonder, if the leeks were closer to his yard would he have taken a leek over the fence?
